Rates are divided into regions. Please refer to individual regions for your specific state and special requirements.
Effective Period
Valid to 31 December 2008. Minimum rental period is two (2) consecutive days
Rates
The rates are comprised of the following components: Unlimited Mileage and Loss Damage Waiver LDW
Additional Liability Insurance (ALI), State Taxes, State Imposed Surcharges, Airport Contract Fees
where applicable, and one additional driver at no charge.
*Daily rate applies for a period of 7 days or more.
For Rentals less than 7 days please divide the weekly rate by 5 and multiply by the number of days
Overrides are not valid on rentals less than 7 days
** PLATINUM ONLY - Where applicable, first tank of gas and all additional drivers at no charge. (25 years age or older)
Any driver under 25 will be subject to local underage driver charges
The rates exclude other coverages such as PAI and PEP, as well as optional services such as baby seats, ski racks etc.
NOTE: State surcharges, state taxes, and other fees, imposed by local legislation, that are beyond the control of Affordable Car Hire, are subject to change and may affect the net rates.
One-Way Rentals:
One-way rentals are subject to car group availability and require prior confirmation.
One-Way Rental Fees:
There are no fees for one-way rentals within the state of Florida, Texas, Ohio, North Carolina & Virginia
One Way Rentals New York - New Jersey & Illinois
A one-way rental service fee applies to New York - New Jersey & Illinois
One Way Rentals Western USA
A one-way rental service fee applies to all areas in Western USA excluding Texas
i.e. Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wyoming
One Way Rentals Rest of USA
No one way fees will apply on one way rentals originating and terminating within the same state for the following states : Ohio, North Carolina and Virginia.
On all other one way rentals, a one way service fee will apply.

Y.D.P. Young Drivers Package
The following young drivers fee will apply to drivers under 25 years of age:
- A fee of $20 per day applies to drivers 21 to 24 years in all locations
- A fee of $20 per day applies to drivers 21 to 24 years in all locations
- A fee of $115.00 per day applies to drivers 18 to 20 years in New York
These fees are paid locally and subject to all applicable taxes and surcharges
Rates are not valid to US licence holders or for sale in the US.
Deposits
Renters with a prepaid voucher are required to leave a credit card deposit to cover the estimated extra costs not included in the rates.
